Pindar Wong
Pindar Wong is Chairman of VeriFi (Hong Kong) Limited. He
is one of Asia's early commercial Internet pioneers. He co-founded Hong Kong's
first licensed ISP in 1993 and has served as the first Vice-Chairman of ICANN,
the At-Large Study Committee, the ICANN Nominating Committee, Chairman of
the Asia Pacific Internet Association, Chairman of APRICOT 2000 and Alternate
Chair of the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre. He currently serves
on the technical advisory board of the Packet Clearing House, the international
advisory boards of the UNDP Asia-Pacific Development Information Programme
, the advisory board of CDT's Global Internet Policy Initiative and the editorial
advisory board of Cisco Systems' Internet Protocol Journal. His Internet
consultancy is based in Hong Kong.
