Jong-Sung Hwang

Dr Jong-Sung Hwang is Executive Vice President at the National Computerization Agency (NCA) of Korea. He received his PhD in political science from Yonsei University in 1994 and joined NCA in 1995. Currently, his main responsibility is to develop national information strategies and evaluate IT performances. He has managed national projects to draft the informatisation master plans, including Cyber Korea 21 and e-Korea Vision 2006, and carried out research on e-government and online democracy. He is also an executive secretary of the National Informatization Evaluation Committee.
